Hairball Prevention
Our de-shedding treatment begins with a thorough pre-bath comb out to remove dead undercoat and loosen trapped fur. During the bath, two gentle lathers are applied, each followed by a careful comb out and rinse to wash away additional loose fur. As the coat is blow-dried, remaining undercoat is lifted and finished with a final comb out using a suction comb for a clean, polished result. Care is taken to avoid over-combing or thinning, ensuring the coat stays soft, full, and healthy.
Regular de-shedding appointments — typically every 4–8 weeks — maintain these results by preventing the undercoat from rebuilding. Many clients choose de-shedding as a natural alternative to a Lion Cut, reducing shedding and hairballs while keeping their cat’s coat plush and natural-looking.
